| My name is Connie M. Van Cleve. I'm a dedicated 40-something writer. I bring to my creations a passion for life and for travel. I spent 6 months in India and have visited 34 other countries as well. I’ve worn many hats, and only one is a lie ~ photographer, motor drag-strip pit member, rock musician, NYC dog walker, construction worker, exotic dancer, secretary, sheet-metal worker, bartender, market researcher, horse trainer, label- setter seamstress, barista, travel agent, artist’s assistant, a brief stint in the French Foreign Legion, and the best job of all, a wife of 25 years. I've studied world religions and cultures as a hobby, with particular focus on Hinduism and Buddhism, and I am keen on our society's growing quest for spirituality, with a strong desire of my own to be a contributor, if even in a small way. I’ve also lived with mental illness for the whole of my life (Family members. Not me. Well...) and I’ve gained a great deal of insight from both afflicted and healer. So until we meet again. May your Karma always be good, and Peace be with you. Namaste! |
